Official Inauguration of the GRYB Multi-Sport Complex: A Collective Dream Come True in Victoriaville

On September 25, an emotional recognition ceremony was held at Collège Clarétain to honor everyone who contributed to the creation of the GRYB Multi-Sport Complex. This event marked the culmination of a major project made possible through the dedication of the community, partners, and the unwavering support of GRYB.

A Donation to Build the Future

A flagship company in Victoriaville specializing in the design and manufacturing of attachments for heavy machinery, GRYB has committed to donating one million dollars over the years to the Collège Clarétain Foundation to support the construction of this brand-new complex.
This philanthropic gesture reflects the company’s desire to give back to the community that has supported it for more than 15 years.

“Sports, youth, and community are at the heart of our motivation. We want to encourage young people to engage in sports because they represent our future, and we truly believe in their potential,” said Remi Beaudoin, President of GRYB.

A Modern Space Accessible to All

The GRYB Multi-Sport Complex includes three modern gymnasiums and a fully renovated arena, all connected by an indoor footbridge to facilitate movement between facilities.
Designed to promote physical activity and community well-being, the complex will also be open to the public outside school hours, giving families, athletes, and local residents the chance to enjoy its facilities.

At the same time, the City of Victoriaville is undertaking several initiatives to maximize access to these new infrastructures:

• Complete renovation of the arena, transforming it into a true sports and event center;

• Construction of a triple gymnasium offering multiple courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, as well as a training room and large meeting space;

• Addition of a lit synthetic turf field with a running track, encouraging evening sporting events and supporting the growth of local teams.

A Lasting Legacy for Youth and the Region

Thanks to this exemplary partnership between GRYB, Collège Clarétain, and the City of Victoriaville, the region now benefits from a unique facility that fosters physical activity, teamwork, and youth development.
